Ronald Curtis “Hillbilly” McMillan, Sr. of Elkton died at home Friday, July 27, 2018. He was 53. Born in Elkton, on June 11, 1965, he was the son of Reggie Franklin McMillan and Blanche Hilda (Lylla) McMillan. Mr. McMillan had a love and passion for his children and grandchildren. He is survived by daughters, Amanda Blackburn (Zachery) of Elkton, and Amy Spencer; sons, Ronald McMillan, Jr. (Emily) and Donald McMillan; siblings, Nancy Tyler (Roger), Tammie Lankford (Robert), Arthur McMillan (Sharon), Lonnie McMillan (Dwighty), James McMillan (Katherine) and Donald McMillan (Judy): grandchildren: Kelly, Ronald, III, Malerie, Nora, Bellanie, Phyllis, and Eliviana.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis T. McMullen; sister, Deborah Allen; and two brothers, Reggie F. McMillan, Jr., and Kenneth Frock. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Hillbilly’s funeral service on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Charlestown Missionary Baptist Church, 1168 West Old Philadelphia Road, Charlestown. There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment will follow services in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton. Comments are closed.
