Richard Michel “Mike” LeBrun, Sr., 85, of Colora, Maryland, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 in his home surrounded by family, after a brief illness. Born July 26, 1932 in Port Deposit, Maryland, he grew up in Port Deposit, attended the Tome School, Archmere Academy and St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin. He worked briefly at Cecil National Bank in Port Deposit, then served in the United States Army, married the love of his life, Blanche Jones, then returned to work at Cecil National Bank, where he worked for 30 years, eventually rising to the position of Bank President. Mike was active in Good Shepherd Parish and the Boy Scouts of America as a Life Scout, a life member of the Order of the Arrow, and Scoutmaster of Hopewell Troop 143. He enjoyed time spent with his large family. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Blanche Jones LeBrun, and eight children: Renee A. Lebrun, Richard “Mickey” LeBrun, Jr., Pierre A. LeBrun, Claude M. LeBrun, David B. LeBrun, Sr., Jacqueline P. England, Bruce C. LeBrun, and Alan D. LeBrun; 21 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Pierre N. LeBrun and Margaret Boyle LeBrun, his brother, Pierre L. LeBrun and sisters, Elenor Carey LeBrun Valente and Olivia LeBrun Urban, and grandson, David A. LeBrun.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 4, 2017, 11 AM, at Good Shepherd Church of Perryville, Maryland. Fr. Jay McKee will officiate. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, November 3, 2017, 7 PM until 9 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, Maryland.
