Richard Lee Cochran, 62 of Elkton, MD, died Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bel Air, MD, on March 14, 1953, he was the son of the late Farlie Mac Cochran, Sr. and Alphia (Wagner) Cochran. Mr. Cochran served in the U S Air Force. He retired from General Motors where he had worked as an electrician. He enjoyed wood working, sports, watching cowboy movies and all types of cars. Survivors include his wife: Sharon Cochran; a daughter: Alphia M. Philhower of Warren, OH and son: Eric L. Cochran of Martinsburg, WV; four sisters: Ruth Ann Johnson of Fredericksburg, VA, Rachel E. Dixon of Churchville, MD, Janie E. Amberman of Joppa, MD, Shirley M. Ball of VA and one brother: Alan R. Cochran of Delta, PA; 7 grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Nicholas, Sara, Nathan, Bryce, Noah and Abbie; and his great granddaughter: Ariella.
Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Jamey Grooms will be held Friday, January 22, 2016 at 10:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where the family will receive guests beginning at 9:00 am until service time.
