Madeline Zyskowski of Elkton, formerly of North Brunswick, N.J., died Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care, Christiana Hospital, Newark, Del. She was 90. Born in Jersey City, N.J., on September 22, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Felix and the late Eleonora (Wrzesienski) Kroll. She was the wife of the late Casey Zyskowski Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Zyskowski worked as an Attendance Clerk for New Brunswick High School, N.J. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish and enjoyed attending services at St. Jude’s Church, North East. She was a member of the Crochet Club in Cecil Woods.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol Kaplan of Colora, and Janet Ladd of Fairfax, Va.; three grandchildren, Adam Ladd of Jersey City, N.J., Tyler Ladd of Norristown, Pa. and Corey Kerzhner of Alexandria, Va.; three siblings, Dorothy Riechers of Fairfax, Va., Florence Groves of Spring Hill, Fla. and Leonard Kroll of Mineral, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 4-6 p.m. at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East. A Mass of Christian Burial, conducted by Father John Solomon, will be held Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11 a.m. at St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church, 928 Turkey Point Road, North East. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, in care of the funeral home. Comments are closed.
