Lillian Wyatt of Colora died at home August 30, 2015. She was 80. Born in North Carolina on October 3, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Mack Murray and the late Verdie Murray. Mrs. Wyatt worked for several years at a local sewing factory before becoming a home day care provider. She enjoyed family and children, especially her furry son (the dog), Brownie. She is survived by her two daughters, Barbara Hamm of Colora, Maryland and Brenda Phelan of Lakeland, Fla.; four sisters and one brother, Ruth Fender of Sparta, N.C., Omah Lee Wyatt of Sparta, N.C., Ethelene Clayville of Dover, Del., Mildred Billings of Elkin, N.C. and Kyle Murray of Eunice, N.C., three grandchildren, Angela Thomas, Jacqueline Hamm, and David Hamm, III; and two great-grandchildren, Katelyn Thomas and Tori Thomas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Paul Wyatt, as well as four brothers and two sisters. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 2, from 6-8 p.m. at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 S. Queen St., Rising Sun, Rising Sun, MD 21911. A funeral service will be held at New Bridge Baptist Church on Wyatt Lane in Colora on Thursday, September 3, at 11 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
