Joan Dawson Lupinetti of Conowingo died March 15, 2014. She was 83. She was the daughter of the late Randall Clifford and Anna Noel Dawson, of Penns Grove, N.J. She will be fondly remembered for her active role within the Good Shepherd Parish Community, and the countless hours she volunteered assisting the less fortunate with the Saint Vincent DePaul’s Society. She is survived by her eight children, sons Dante Lupinetti of Walkersville; Michael Lupinetti of Conowingo; Joseph Lupinetti of Port Deposit; and Perry Lupinetti of Indiana, Pa.; daughters, Anna Marie Malone of Conowingo; Denise Edwards of Forest Hill; Mary Theresa Lupinetti of Elkton; and Annette Wiseman of Conowingo, 28 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren; and her longtime friend, Liz Casey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dante Francesco Lupinetti; her brother Noel Clifford Dawson, and her sister Doris Eckley. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville. Father Jay McKee will preside over the funeral service to be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, at Saint Agnes Catholic Church in Rising Sun.
