Edward Leigh Duff, 85 years, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 in the Laurelwood Healthcare Center of Elkton, MD. Born November 16, 1932 in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of the late Edward E. and Gertrude Cecil Duff. Edward Leigh was employed as a welder by the former Wiley Manufacturing Company of Port Deposit, MD, and by the army at the Aberdeen Proving Ground of Aberdeen, MD. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Mason Dixon Post No.194 of Rising Sun, MD. He is survived by his sons, Daniel L. Duff of Elkton, MD, and Brian W. Duff of Bel Air, MD; daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Duff of Port Deposit, MD; four grandchildren, Carl and Owen Duff and Andrew and Sarah Duff. Edward Leigh was preceded in death by his wife, Lois McDougal Duff, and brother, Marvin Duff. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 16, 2018, 10 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2018, 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home. Pastor Michael A. Caldwell of the Wesley United Methodist Church of Elkton, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in West Nottingham Cemetery, Colora, MD. Comments are closed.
