Clayburn F. Wyatt of Peach Bottom died Tuesday, May 28 2013. Born in West Jefferson N.C., he was the son of the late Edward and Alpha (Roten) Wyatt. Mr. Wyatt was a tree surgeon for Hinkles and McCoy for 29 years. Later he was employed for 20 years by Asplundh as a foreman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and working in his garden. In addition to his wife Agnes (Himelright) Wyatt, he is survived by siblings Maggie Shatley, Margie Farello, Pricilla Tackett, Faye Moulton, James Wyatt, sons Rex Wyatt, Riley Dickens, Manuel Dickens, Hammy Dickens, Clinton Dickens, Daniel Dickens, daughters Kathleen Pittman, Donna McMillan, Michelle Gregory, Leona Huston, Terri Ford, 26 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by siblings Willie Mae Parker, Ruth Holman, Paul Wyatt, Robert Wyatt, son Clayburn Wyatt Jr., and daughter Dorothy Haliskey. A service was held from R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 S. Queen St, Rising Sun, MD 21911 on Thursday, May 30. Burial was in Conowingo Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
