Ann Bradley Taylor of Rising Sun died at home Tuesday, September 18, 2018. She was 91. Born in Port Deposit on June 30, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Harlan and Elsie (Hurford) Bradley. She was a lifelong member of Shelemiah UM Church, Bayview, where she spent countless hours volunteering. She was devoted to helping others and also volunteered at the Perry Point VA Medical Center. Mrs. Taylor enjoyed needle point, animals, gardening, fishing, baking pies and cakes, social media and just socializing. Most of all, she loved her family and times she spent with them.
She is survived by a son, James and Sally Taylor of Wexford, Pa.; four daughters, Patricia and Jerry Clay of Del Ray, W.Va., Carol and Stephen McKinney of North East, Dorothy Taylor and Donald Pollock of Niagara Falls, N.Y. and Mary Jane Smith of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; eight grandchildren, Patti, Deanna, Kim, Jennifer, Jim, Kelly, Karen, Calum; 10 great grandchildren; and Felix, her cat. She was the wife of the late Hammersley “Pup” Taylor who died on April 12, 2016. Memorial service will be held Sunday, September 23, at 2 p.m. at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Shelemiah UM Church or Amedisys Hospice, both in care of the funeral home.
