Anita J. Howell, of North East, died suddenly on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at her home. She was 64. Ms. Howell was born in Nanticoke, PA, on November 5, 1948, daughter of the late Henry Watkins and the late Sarah Jane Nitz Milliner. She retired from Aberdeen Proving Ground where she worked as a Division Chief for Supply and Logistics. Ms. Howell enjoyed reading, especially her Bible, writing in her journal and collecting angels. She also liked to watch game shows and American Idol. She loved a variety of music and muscle cars. She is survived by her son, Alfred B. Milliner, of Rising Sun; two grandsons, Alfred B. Milliner, Jr., of Rising Sun and Andrew Milliner, of Portsmouth, VA; three brothers, Henry Milliner, of Havre de Grace, Alfred E. Milliner, of Port Deposit and Wayne Milliner, of Rising Sun.
Friends called at the Crouch Funeral Home in North East on Thursday, June 20 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Services were held at the funeral home on Friday, June 21 at 2 p.m. Burial was at Harford Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen. Comments are closed.
