Albert J. Goad, 86 of Elkton, MD, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bluefield, VA, on June 22, 1930, he served his country during Korea in the US Army. Mr. Goad retired from General Motors. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of North East. Albert Goad was a family man through and through. He was very proud of his family. He is survived by his wife of 45 years: Emma Goad; his one and only daughter: Paula Johnson and his son-in-law and best friend: Ron Johnson; his two granddaughters: Chandis Joelle (Candy Jo) and Caitlyn Jean (Hi Cate); his one spunky great grandchild: Alexis Jade. He has many special nieces to include Geraldine, Libby, Marlene, Vera, Diane, Kathy and so many more, too many to mention, that he loved so much all equally. You see the reason the women are mentioned is because we were all his “Pretty, Pretty Princess” and Daddy loved us all. Albert loved to spend time with family and was there at ALL functions. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, motocross and playing Texas HoldEm with his son-in-law.
He was preceded by many brothers and sisters in Christ. Go fishing Daddy. Dance in the sky and I will see you when I get there. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 6:00 pm with a memorial service beginning at 7:00 pm at First Baptist Church of North East, 206 Mechanics Valley Road, North East, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the church. For condolences, please visit HYPERLINK "http://www.crouchfuneralhome.com" www.crouchfuneralhome.com. Comments are closed.
